In January of 2020, just prior to the COVID era, Adam and Shreyas had their first date where they shared pizza and dessert.

Their relationship blossomed over the course of COVID, during which they moved in together and Shreyas turned their backyard from a dirt lot into a lush garden and Adam carried heavy things.

Their family expanded in October of 2020 with the addition of Sandy, the pandemic pup. She added some much needed chaos to their lives along with the relentless love that only a dog can bring.

Adam and Shreyas continued their lives together through 2021 and 2022, and as restrictions lifted, they began traveling to visit family in Sunnyvale, Boston, San Jose, Bengaluru, and Las Vegas as well as making numerous trips to Disneyland.

In June of 2023, the day after a jetlagged Shreyas returned from visiting his parents in India, Adam proposed at the San Diego Zoo, with the gardens and waterfalls they discovered during their second date as a backdrop.
