Addie and Harrison met on a dating app one month before Harry was set to graduate Purdue and move to Chicago. After a fantastic first date at The Tap where they only got one trivia question correct, plans for a second date were made by the end of the night. One week into knowing each other, Addie called Harry to excitedly let him know that she had been accepted into Purdue's vet school. This came as quite a shock to Harry, as he thought she was about to graduate from vet school and move to the city. However, one conversation was enough to decide that long distance was worth a shot. Chicago is only two hours away.

For the first three years, they lived with Harry's roommates and notable groomsmen, Zach and Jeff, in Lakeview. Addie was an unofficial fourth roommate during the summers that she worked in the city. In the four years they have been together, Addie and Harry have traveled to Destin, Fort Myers, New Buffalo, Seattle, New Orleans, Belize, Honduras, and Cozumel.

In March 2024, they bought a condo in the Chicago neighborhood of Logan Square. Harry has supported Addie through four years of veterinary school, and they have explored nearly every inch of Chicago together, visiting as many bookstores and cocktail bars as possible.

Harry proposed at the Chicago Palmer House Hotel on June 14, 2024, and the rest will be a history filled with love, more bookshelves than they need, and a dog who absolutely thinks Harry is her biological dad. More recently, they made an addition to their family with Binx! Our adorable girl is a fluffy black kitten that was brought in as a stray to Addie's clinic. And yes, her and Kono get along like siblings!
