You haven't been to Greenville without going to this park! Just a block from the hotels in the hotel block, and the gem of downtown. A fantastic project of the Garden Club of Greenville and the city of Greenville! Also a great place to catch the Swamp Rabbit Trail that will connect you to lots of places on our recommendation list.
Downtown Greenville hosts a Saturday farmers market every Saturday morning in the summers! If you're staying downtown, it will be impossible to miss it!
There will also be a pride festival downtown on Saturday, get out and enjoy all the festivities!
Awesome brewery in walking distance from the hotel blocks, and right across the street from the church! This is also a great place for lunch - Addie recommends the vegan mushroom reuben and Tyler likes the "notorious F.I.G" and the hummus.
Addie's favorite brewery! Great beer, pizza, and salad (we're serving a replica of their salad at our wedding it's so good). Just a 1/2 mile walk/run/bike from downtown via the Swamp Rabbit Trail. While you're there, walk around Unity Park or the Commons (food hall next door)! The Commons has a coffee shop, burger&breakfast place, a taco shop, and a taproom. You can't go wrong!
Take the Swamp Rabbit Trail to this cafe / local grocery store for coffee, pastries, sandwiches, or more! This is a great pit stop on the way to a hike or a great spot to bike to from downtown as a Saturday activity.
Tyler's favorite brewery! The oldest brewery in Greenville - get the Trifecta!
The best way to get on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and explore Greenville is on a bike! Reedy Rides is a bike rental store in downtown Greenville that is walkable from either hotel block. If you don't have a car, this is the best way to get to Pangaea Brewing, the Swamp Rabbit Cafe, Unity Park, or the Commons. A half day rental is normally $30.
A great local bakery in a neat part of town - also check out Village Grind for some great coffee & pastries just a few doors down!
Closest and best hiking in Greenville - let us know if you want to borrow Tyler's state parks pass!
Great walking/running trails close to Greenville! Great free activity if you don't want to pay for Paris Mountain State Park.
