Our Wedding

Addison's side of the story Quinn and I crossed paths during our senior year of high school shortly after I moved back to Arizona. It was a new school and I walked into my first class. I didn’t see Quinn that day because he sat in the back of the class but he saw me. I wore a lime green blouse that caught his eye as I sat in the front of the class. As he tells the story he fell in love with the back of my head. Eventually, I met him face to face, and I later discovered that Quinn already knew he was going to date me. We became part of the same friend group, and whenever we hung out, he would flirt subtly. I could tell I had him wrapped around my finger. I noticed his gestures, like sitting beside me on the Ferris wheel or playfully stealing food from my plate during brunch outings. I found him incredibly charming. We started as best friends, began dating on January 14th, 2021 and eventually fell in love. We got to graduate high school together making him my high school sweetheart. We both started at Northern Arizona University together. In the following November, Quinn gave his life to Christ, and our relationship became centered around our faith. Later the next year in July I got the honor to baptize him. It became clear to me that he was the one I wanted to spend my life with, and he proposed to me on 10/18/24 This story is truly one only God could have written, and I’m so grateful that He did. Quinn's side of the story Our journey starts in October of 2020. After starting the school year online, there was no reason to meet or see each other. Until in person school started up again, and I met her. First day of school I sat in the back of class, wondering who that girl at the front was. Through three years of school there, I have never seen or heard her name before. When she lived in Arizona before she went to the same school as my best friend. So, coming in senior year, she was a part of a similar friend group. Starting group chats, hanging out in groups, planning pickleball nights. Every time I knew she would be there I couldn’t miss it. From pickleball to taking her out to eat afterwards we really started getting along. Then I met her family and started going over to her house every day. I would see her in class and put her iPad face down or on the floor next to her just so she would know I was there. Pickleball turned going places as a group. It was the subtle gestures of sitting next to her on the Ferris wheel, her side of the booth when we went to eat. Then just like that I became attached.We ended the school year, enjoyed our summer before college, which thankfully we were going up together, and were now dating for 8 months.Every year of school has brought its own challenges and good time. Living our lives to figure out what we enjoy doing together. Learning who each other are as well.Sophomore summer I was given the opportunity for a job in commercial real estate. This put me in a place where I was not motivated for school anymore. Addison being there with me sure helped.We knew our plan since what seemed to be freshmen year, get married out of college, and here we are. The planning for the engagement had been fun, she knew what she wanted to wear, which shoes she wanted to where as well. But nothing can change the magical feeling of getting on one knee and telling her how much I love her.This is us, two people dating through college which some would say is highly unlikely. And in this world, fulfilling our dreams and figuring it out everyday. So here we are, on the Lord’s path for us.
