Photography Etiquette

We’ve hired our photographers to document our wedding day and all the special moments that come with it. Their time, attention, and creative direction are fully dedicated to capturing our ceremony, reception, and time with guests as part of our carefully planned schedule. Out of respect for their role and to ensure nothing important is missed, we kindly but firmly ask that guests do not request personal or family photo sessions with them. We completely understand the desire for beautiful pictures and welcome you to take your own throughout the celebration. We just ask that everyone honors this boundary so that the photographers can focus on telling our story. Thank you so much for your understanding and support!

Ceremony Photos

We appreciate you wanting to capture moments of our special day. However, we kindly request that you remain mindful of our photographers’ positions. Their role is crucial in ensuring that the memories of our occasion are preserved without interruption. We would greatly appreciate your cooperation in allowing them to perform their duties unobstructed.

Reception Photos

We will make every effort to take photos with all who wish to capture a moment with us. However, we kindly request your understanding as we also wish to take time to enjoy each other's company and live in the moment, on our special day. We encourage everyone to take as many photos as they desire throughout the evening, and we look forward to seeing them at a later date.

QR Codes

During the reception, QR codes will be available for all attendees who wish to share the photographs they capture. Additionally, a digital QR code will be uploaded to the bottom of this tab on the morning of the wedding. It is important to note that all shared photographs will be accessible to every participant. Therefore, we kindly request that individuals maintain appropriateness in their selections and share only those images with which they are comfortable for public viewing. The digital QR code will be disabled three days after the wedding. This timeframe allows for those who may not have had the opportunity to share their images on the day of the event to do so, while also preventing the inclusion of any photos that are not related to the wedding celebration.
