Lance and I became friends when I was a junior in high school. A few years later during Covid we rekindled something a little more than friendship during the summer of 2020 and started dating by winter that same year. We proceeded to do long distance for a few years and grew up with each other in the years after that. We have both graduated, started new jobs/endeavors, moved out, travelled, and experienced unfortunate loss and hardships with each other, holding hands the whole way through. Here’s to hoping for even more happy memories and strength through tough times for the rest of forever!

I fell for Addie the first time after a date to get shaved ice with her in 2018. After years of phone tag (and her ghosting me once or twice), we took a liking for each other in late 2020 where I asked her to be my girlfriend on December 30th. We proved stereotypes wrong and prevailed healthily and happily after almost two years of long distance supported by late night FaceTimes and finding time between being STEM majors, working through college, and playing collegiate sports to see each other in person. It never felt like I had quite enough time with her, so I made up my mind in 2022 that I wanted to marry this girl. We celebrated each others graduations, have seen the world together, and now support each other in our apartment while we continue to live in the honeymoon phase. I cannot begin to explain the pure joy I felt when Addie said yes to marrying me before I could even get down on one knee. I look forward to obsessing over her and flourishing in this relationship, until death do us part.
