Cate Street is also downtown, but we just HAVE to call out our fav restaurant of all time. We know that is a bold statement. We make it anyway.

We've actually never been here... but we know people like to tour these types of things.

The Jucifer is the most popular and they even have a "Lion-Up" can that supports the University. Fun!

Owned and operated by the most stereotypical version of Louisianans, The Kliebert family farms gators/turtles. They not only host tours, but also double as a two-way petting zoo! If you ever wanted to hold a gator, here is your chance!

Saturday from 8AM - 12PM in Downtown Hammond for the best local groceries & goods.

Grab some coffee at a nearby cafe then peruse the market!

Look for the booth selling boudin and brisket eggrolls- SO good!

Explore the bayou! Be one with nature. Maybe see some gators.
