From our very first date, I knew Austin was special! We went to a cat cafe, and all of the cats there loved him instantly. He was the kindest and the sweetest person I had ever met. I just had the best feeling about him. Logan-- our mutual best friend-- had been trying to set us up for a while, and he was so right! It was a perfect match. Later on, we both went on a trip to New Orleans with some mutual friends. After our first kiss on Canal Street, I knew Austin was the person I wanted to be with forever. Little did I know, he would ask me to marry him two years later in the city where we fell in love! He is so considerate and so patient-- the perfect person for me! I am so thankful life (and Logan) brought us together, and I cannot wait to spend my life with the man of my dreams!

If you know us, then you'll know that Logan is one of our best and closest friends. well I remember one day hanging out at Logans apartment, as I did often because we were both in a fraternity together and both business students at uab. so we were hanging out and studying and he tells me that he has one of his friends coming by to pick something up. I say okay and don't think much about it and I just keep working on my homework but when his friend came in the room, it felt like the world just stop turning for a minute and I was introduced to the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. and that was the first time I met Addi. at the time she didn't pay any mind to who I was, I was just one of Logans frat bros and so we didn't see each other much after that but of course I told Logan how beautiful she was and I followed her on instagram, liking her post every time she posted something because I just knew something was special about her. flash forward maybe a year and a half later, Addison was at a halloween party and I was starstruck. she was hanging out with Logan and we started talking. I was in shock that I was actually having a conversation with her that I just got away quick because I was nervous. We were talking more throughout the party and eventually started keeping up on snapchat and that led to text. we eventually found out that we were both going to a formal for the fraternity I was in, she was just going with Logan as friends and as luck would have it... we scheduled a first date for that morning! it was at a cat coffee shop because I knew she liked cats and I was so extremely nervous but I knew there was something special about her. the date went amazing and I was in the car after just shaking because I was so happy. so we had the formal that night and got to talk a lot and then we went to Logans house after, hanging out with a bunch of friends and that is the night that we first held hands. I was in love and on top of the world. fast forward a little bit and I invited her to come along with Logan to a trip to New Orleans and we had an amazing long weekend with friends and that is were we really bonded and became close. we had our first kiss and since that trip, there hasn't been a single day where we haven't seen each other. and now two years later I got to propose in the same spot that we had our first picture together. this journey has brought me an indescribable amount of joy and I feel like the luckiest man on the planet to get to marry the love of my life.
