Cade and I met on Harding's study abroad Europe program with a rather film-worthy turn of events. I happened to pass out in the middle of the atrium in the British Museum. Cade valiantly, epically, and romantically caught me in his arms before I hit the floor. Now this would certainly have been the beginning of our fantastic love story if not for the unfortunate fact that I was completely unconscious and had no earthy clue about any of it. By the time I woke up he was long gone (no doubt off to save other damsels in distress) and I remained oblivious of his heroism until nearly a month later. After wandering Europe in a small group for almost three months, we finally took notice of each other a couple weeks before we left. Figures. We spent those last few weeks getting to know each other and then went home for the holidays.

After a long Christmas break of texting, gaming, and FaceTiming, we finally met back up at school and started dating.

Cade realized the extent of what he signed up for as he came to meet my dad. I mean... my whole family. (Love you Dad, you can be a bit intimidating) Cade charmed the family, survived, and we had a blast in the mountain snow.

Meanwhile, I was welcomed into Cade's family with exorbitant gift giving and plenty of homecooked meals. The Watson's quickly became my Arkansas family.

After a lot of time together and a sad summer apart, it was clear we were each other's favorite and forever person.

Two Days after Christmas Cade surprised me with a "late Christmas gift" of a personalized wooden puzzle. If you know me, you know that was definitely the most romantic thing he could have done. At the end, he handed me the very last piece reading "Will you marry me?" I SAID YES!!!

Now we are just waiting for the wedding day where we can celebrate our new marriage with each of you!
