When we think about how we met it often brings lots of laughter for us. We may have stretched the truth a time or two on how we actually met. For those who don't know we met on Tinder in February 2022. We even have the initial conversation of us talking on Tinder saved and will periodically read it and laugh. We went on our first official date to Texas Roadhouse in Manhattan and the movies a couple weeks after meeting which is from the picture above. If you were to ask either of us what the movie was we couldn't tell you. We really hit it off ever since that first date and have been inseparable since. We would hangout two to three times a week but kept it pretty hush hush. Addy knew her family was catching on pretty quick when they kept asking why she was so busy and if there was a boy involved. Pretty early on Addy met Johnathans parents because they were busy building a derby car every weekend for an event in March 2022. The second time Addy had been over to Johnathans parents house she wore her slippers and fell asleep on their couch and that went on to show how comfortable Addy felt around Johnathan and his family. In May of 2022 Addy moved to Abilene to live with Johnathan and his dog. Shortly after in June of 2022 we moved to Midland, TX for Johnathan to work in the oilfield. We decided to move back in June of 2023 to Abilene, KS to live closer and get to know his daughter Brimleigh. Addy then would become a Kindergarten teacher and Johnathan would continue to work as a diesel mechanic in Salina. Johnathan decided to pop the question on Christmas Eve of 2023 at Addys parents with her family around just like she wanted. Addy jumped with joy and had tears in her eyes and forgot to even say yes because she was so shocked but Johnathan knew her tears of joy and jumping up and down meant yes and the rest is history!
