Our Wedding

Payton and Adele met at a house party in Denver during spring 2021. Payton asked Adele out, and they had their first official date at Osteria Marco in Larimer Square. Adele was running late to the date, and she was texting Payton, panicking as he patiently waited. :) Payton is glad he waited because this would be the beginning of their story!After their first date, Payton &amp; Adele continued seeing each other, and officially began dating on July 31, 2021 while attending Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Payton asked Adele to be his girlfriend in the back of an Uber on the way home from a country bar (in typical Wyoming fashion, this Uber driver had their own moonshine distillery and had passed out samples to the entire car just moments before).The couple has been inseparable since then. They moved from Colorado to Florida in 2022 and have resided there since. Payton proposed on Clearwater Beach on April 5, 2024. The engagement came as a surprise to Adele, who got to celebrate with her family who had flown into town as a surprise, as well as Payton's family and friends. It was a magical engagement!Payton and Adele can't wait to get married and start the next chapter of their story together, which will be filled with lots of love, laughs, travel, and fun.

For the wedding, both valet and self parking is available at the Hotel Del Coronado. The valet is $35/vehicle and self parking is $25. Please let the attendant know you are there for Adele and Payton's wedding. We are encouraging our guests to use rideshare services to and from the wedding -- we want you to be able to enjoy yourself safely!

Transportation

You will be able to use Ubers/taxis to get around Coronado Island and San Diego! We highly encourage using rideshare services -- parking can be expensive!

Why Hotel Del Coronado?

Payton and Adele made a weekend trip to San Diego in September 2022. Payton had been to San Diego before, but this was Adele's first time. Payton was an excellent tour guide, and the couple went over to Coronado Island to explore and visit the historic hotel. Adele fell head over heels in love with the Hotel Del Coronado, and it was one of the couple's many highlights of their trip. Both Payton and Adele love Coronado Island and the beauty of California. When selecting a venue came around, there was only one choice in Adele's mind, and that was the Hotel Del Coronado!

What is the dress code?

Welcome Party Dress Code:Tropical themed! Are kids welcome?

While we would love to invite little ones, due to venue capacity restrictions, we cannot accommodate children unless specified on the formal invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue restrictions, we kindly ask that only those named on the formal invitations attend our wedding.

Are you doing a welcome party?

Yes! We will be holding a welcome party on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the historic Bali Hai Restaurant in San Diego, California. Come celebrate with an open bar and delicious tropical cuisine! We would love for our guests to wear tropical-themed/brightly colored clothing.

When will the bride and groom be arriving?

The bride &amp; groom will be arriving to San Diego on Sunday, July 27!

Where and when can I RSVP?

Coronado Island is the small piece of land directly off San Diego, which houses a massive naval base on one-half and a quaint town with beautiful beaches on the other.&nbsp;There are so many things to do both on this beautiful island and San Diego!

Visit the Beach

One of the main reasons to come to Coronado Island is to get some beach time! Visit Coronado Beach or Silver Strand Beach for the best views.

Ferry Service from&nbsp;Coronado to San Diego&nbsp;starts at 9:30 am and runs every hour, leaving on the half hour. This is a fantastic way to see the island and get over to San Diego for a low cost!

Visit the Midway, a historical naval aircraft carrier museum located in downtown San Diego, California, at Navy Pier. The museum consists of the aircraft carrier Midway, which houses an extensive collection of aircraft, many of which were built in Southern California.
