Tommy was a senior when Adele was a freshman at Middletown High School South. Tommy was on the soccer team and Adele was on the field hockey team so we were bound to cross paths on the turf. Tommy first heard about Adele when he was in college and Adele was a senior in high school. Adele took a Vine, yes a Vine (one of the popular social media platforms back in the day) of him pushing a mutual friend of theirs in the pool. Tommy found out it was on Adele's account and searched her to find that video.

Fast forward to March of 2017 where they formally met at the Globe in Red Bank, NJ. Adele decided last minute after already locking in her internship in Cortland, NY to do her mandatory college internship at home her last semester. Most of her friends were still at their colleges so Adele didn't go out much and was focused on getting a job post graduation. She stopped by her dad's house 3/31/17 so naturally had to stop by the Romano's house (Adele's neighbors growing up --her MOH Vanessa and Bridesmaid Carla). Carla needed a ride to the Globe to meet her friend so Adele offered to drive her. Her friend was running 30 minutes late and she didn't want to go in by herself and begged Adele to come in for a drink. As the good friend Adele was- Carla convinced her to go in - granted it was a Friday night at about 9pm and Adele was wearing her famous baggy sweats, a hoodie, and had on her rolled ugg boots. Who would have thought that day Adele would have met the man of her dreams, Tommy Treacy.

Tommy had some liquid courage in him and went up to Adele and told her to get in a snap chat to one of our mutual friends (the one who Tommy pushed in the pool at he high school party). Adele went along with it and was feeling brave and said "I don't have you on Snapchat". Adele and Tommy later exchanged Snapchats and haven't stopped talking since that day!
