It all started when Adeline was home from school in January 2019. She was in the car with her friends getting dropped off at home. She looked over and saw her friend Mitch (the best man) that she worked at McDonalds with. She texted him Hey! I just saw you. Mitch responded inviting her to come join him and his friend at Applebee's. This kid ended up being Eymeric. She only knew him as the French kid from Mcdonalds, but they never worked or saw each other at work since Adeline was always away at school. Later in May when Adeline was home for the summer, Adeline and Eymeric started seeing each other in the mornings when Eymeric was off of his overnight shift at 6am and she started. Since they now met they had little conversations. Then one day all the other openers decided they would be an hour late to work (fun). So, Eymeric stayed a hour late to help Adeline since she was the only one there. Eymeric then did the smoothest thing ever. He just placed his phone down in front of Adeline with a new contact open and said nothing else (wow so smooth). After this the two added each other on Snapchat and started a streak. Now with a little relationship going Eymeric finally asked Adeline to hang. Nah Okay he tried again later on. Yeah eventually Here he goes again. Sure I am going to take a nap, I'll text you later. Never hears back. Okay lets ask her to see a movie. oh Sure you want to see the new Spider-Man movie? Success! And the rest is history.

&nbsp;Tout commence quand Adeline est rentrée chez elle, car elle habitait près de son école qui était à 4 heures de route. En janvier 2019, elle était dans la voiture d’une de ses amies qui l'a raccompagnée. Elle a regardé sur le côté et a vu son ami Mitch (le témoin principal) avec qui elle travaillait à McDonald's. Elle lui a envoyé un message : « Salut, je viens de te voir en voiture ». Mitch a répondu et l'a invitée à le rejoindre, lui et son ami, à Applebee's. L'ami en question était Eymeric. Elle le connaissait seulement de McDonald's et savait qu'il était français. Ils n'avaient jamais travaillé ensemble et ne s'étaient jamais vus, car Adeline était à l'école. Donc, Adeline les a rejoints et ils ont passé une bonne soirée. Plus tard, en mai, quand Adeline est rentrée chez elle pour l’été, Adeline et Eymeric ont commencé à travailler ensemble, car Eymeric travaillait de nuit et finissait à 6h du matin, tandis qu'Adeline commençait à 6h du matin. Comme ils se connaissaient depuis la fois où ils s'étaient vus en janvier, ils commençaient à avoir des petites conversations. Un jour, alors que les managers qui devaient remplacer Eymeric allaient être en retard (amusant), Eymeric est resté une heure supplémentaire pour aider Adeline car elle était la seule à travailler. Eymeric a alors fait la chose la plus romantique au monde : il a placé son téléphone juste devant Adeline avec la page "nouveau contact" ouverte et n’a rien dit (très romantique). Maintenant, avec la petite relation d'amis qu'ils avaient, Eymeric a enfin demandé à Adeline de sortir voir un film ou d'aller au restaurant. Elle a répondu « NON ». Pas de problème, Eymeric lui a redemandé quelques jours plus tard et elle a rebondi en disant « Oui, éventuellement », mais toujours rien. Eymeric ne perd pas espoir et lui demande encore une fois, et elle répond « D’accord, je fais une sieste et je t’envoie un message quand je me réveille ». Eymeric a attendu toute la journée sans réponse. Eymeric lui a demandé encore une fois et enfin elle lui a dit « OUI » (Enfin). Elle lui a demandé si Eymeric voulait voir le nouveau Spider-Man (c’était Spider-Man: Far From Home) et Eymeric a dit « Oui, avec plaisir », et le reste appartient à l'histoire.
