If you LOVE history This is a MUST see and it is FREE!! The museum as been recently renovated and is great for adults and kids of all ages. You can just hang out in the museum and gift shop of take a waking tour of the grounds where the battle of Fredericksburg was actually fought and where so many brave men died. There is a 22 minute video that shown every 30min in the museum that gives a great overview and there is a $2 fee per person (kids 10 and under are free)

There are other Battle Fields in close proximity to this one, and you will find them at the same website.

This is a unique encounter for all. The distillery does offer complementary tours for those over the legal drinking age. You do need to book your tour in advance so make sure you visit their website and pick your day and time so you don't miss out.

This is a great place to spend an hour or all day and get a taste of what life was and is like in the Marine Corp. This could be about a 30min drive with no traffic but a great place to visit. The museum and parking are both FREE!

For anyone who likes shopping this is the place for you! This mall may be greater or lesser than what you are used to but there are a variety of shops to choose from.
