Cole and Adi met in Clinton, MS at Mississippi College. Cole was on the football team and Adi was on the volleyball team. One night in November of ‘22, Adi and some teammates decided to go out, and Cole decided not to adhere to his usual 8pm bedtime. Thank goodness! Shucker's was the regular spot on Saturday night. The volleyball girls and the football guys quickly found each other inside. Cole and Adi introduced themselves, started talking, and hit it off! The next semester they would have to begin long distance, but they both knew that it would be well worth it in the end. They had found their person. After a lot of flights, drives, and phone calls Cole proposed to Adi on August 9, 2024 at Tallulah Falls.
