Are you able to bring a plus one?

We kindly ask that you only bring a plus one if they are specifically mentioned on your invitation. Due to exact amount of seats at both the ceremony and reception, we are only able to accommodate those guests who have been named on the invite. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

We love your kids, but our wedding will be adults only. To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception minus the wedding party.

Do I have to book through your room block?

For your convenience, we have arranged a special rate at our chosen hotel. We kindly ask that you use the link provided to book your rooms.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO BOOK BY?

We ask that you book as soon as possible so we can account for you! The deadline is November 1st, 2024 to be a part of our room block.

What day should I arrive/depart?

We encourage you to stay for as long or as short as you'd like! This is your vacation too, and we want you to relax and recharge. When booking through our website, simply request the dates you'd like to stay. Enjoy your time!

What airport do I fly into?

We recommend flying into the Cancun Airport (CUN). Roundtrip transportation from the airport is provided for our guests staying at El Dorado Resorts. This can be organized through our travel agent.

Airport Transportation

Transportation to and from the Cancun airport (CUN) will be provided for guests staying at El Dorado Resorts. When booking through our room block link, you'll have an option to select LOMAS transfers. Please select this option. Look for the bright blue shirts marked "Lomas Travel" upon exiting the airport. They will have all of your information in hand and will be waiting to transport you on time.

Wedding Day Transportation

Transportation to and from the ceremony and reception will be provided for guests staying at El Dorado Resorts. The shuttle will depart for the venue at approximately 4:00pm & 4:15pm and we will have various shuttles returning to the resort at 10:30pm, 11:30pm, midnight.

Can I stay at another resort?

While we would love to have you at the resort with us and our group, we understand preferences and circumstances might have you booking elsewhere. If you choose to stay somewhere else, you will be responsible for transportation to/from our wedding venue as well as to/from Cancun Airport.

What is the dress code?

Our Welcome Party on Thursday, March 13th is casual beach attire. We kindly suggest linen shirts or button-down shirts and shorts for men and sundresses for women. Please note that our welcome party will be beachfront, so please choose your shoes accordingly. Sandals are encouraged! The wedding dress code is cocktail/semi-formal. The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, so we know it will be quite warm. We suggest that women wear midi/maxi or cocktail length dresses and men wear a button-down shirts or dress shirt with tie. Suits not required!

CAN I USE USD IN MEXICO?

Absolutely! The resort is all inclusive, meaning that your drinks and food are covered your entire stay! We recommend bringing small bills ($1s & $5s) to tip bartenders and servers.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, a passport is required to travel to Mexico. Please make sure it is up to date and will not expire 6 months prior to your Mexico trip. If you need to apply for or renew your passport, we would recommend doing so ASAP.

Any Excursions?

We will be doing a group catamaran cruise Thursday, March 13th for those that RSVP'd for that event. We do encourage you to plan any excursions that you will enjoy. We want this to be a vacation for our guests as much as it is for us. Some of the available excursions offered through the resort can be found by visiting: lomastravel.com/tours. You can also book once you're at the resort.

What should I pack?

Most important, your passport! We also recommend sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and necessary toiletries. Mexico in March averages around 70-85 degrees, so we suggest packing casual beach attire in addition to your wedding attire. Don't forget your bathing suits!
