Our Wedding

At that time, neither of us was actively seeking love or a relationship, yet our romantic journey began at Walmart. Simon and I shared a mutual friend who believed we would be a great match. She approached me while I was working and informed me that Simon had feelings for me, while also conveying to him that I liked him in return. About a week later, Simon invited me on a date, and I decided to embrace the opportunity. Our first outing took place at China Moon in Ankeny, IA. I was exceedingly nervous, to the point of spilling my water all over myself, but Simon reassured me by saying I still looked cute. After several dates, I found myself waiting for him to ask me to be his girlfriend, but ultimately, I took the initiative and asked him instead. The rest of our journey together is now part of our shared history.
