What is Formal Attire?

Formal Attire for wedding guests is slightly less formal than black-tie wedding attire.

For men, a tuxedo isn't required, but it can still be worn, if preferred. Men can opt to wear a suit, black shirt, and a conservative black tie. Also a black button up shirt/collar shirt with black slacks or chinos aligns with the dress code.

For women, the outfit choices remain the same as black-tie affairs -- a floor length gown, tea-length, knee-length, or midi length dress. Also a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit will fit the dress code too.
