Do you believe in online dating? Well, Ken and I met each other in September 2011. Ken sent me a message on this site called Tagged. He said "Hey cutie!" I was like, he is handsome so let me respond back to him. We talked back and forths and decided to meet up for his birthday on the 28th of September. We dated for a few months and then on January 1, 2012 he asked me to officially be his girlfriend. For the past four years we have had the pleasure to enjoy each others company and families. They say, if you stop looking God will send you someone. I truly believe that. God knew my heart and sent me a man that would be my best friend, my helpmate, and an excellent male figure in my children's life. He not only loves me but he loves Aniyah and Jayden as his own.

Adrian and I went out looking for rings and we found one that she liked. I got it sent to get resized and it took over two months. After I inquired about it with the jewler, I decided to get my money back and find another. Then about three days later they called and I went and picked up her ring. I got the ring and I hid it until I could think of a good time to propose. It took me a while, I was thinking of a way to do it to make it special away from the traditional. So it sat in a hiding space for two months. The only thing that came to mind was doing at my family reunion in July.

I was walking around the whole weekend with the ring in my pocket. We were having a family meeting the last day of the reunion about where and when to hold the next reunion. I decided it was the perfect time. I stood up and suggested we do it in August. My family was like why? I said "I would like someone to become part of the family." I got down on one knee and asked Adrian to marry me and she said YES!
