Our very first interaction with each other was at a sports tournament in Toronto back in 2016. Adrian's sister introduced us to each other (Adrian has no memory of this and denies this happened). It was a quick exchange and at the time, it didn't mean much. Raizza was studying in Vancouver and Adrian was changing the street lights in Winnipeg. The two of us were never going to meet again. Or so we thought..

Years go by and after some circumstances, we end up in the same city. We quickly became friends and found out we had a lot in common. Loved being active and exploring, trying new restaurants and watching movies. Spending all of this time together, our relationship came naturally.

Our first date was on October 18, 2019. Adrian gathered up the courage to ask her out and she said yes. We ended up going on a picnic at English bay and walked the seawall during sunset.

In 2020 Raizza entered nursing school and Adrian got a new job at a better company. Because of the shut down and our busy schedules we weren't able to see each other as often. Once everything started to open up the following year, we wasted no time and went out whenever we got the chance. Hiking every month, going on airplane rides over the city, trying new things. In 2022, Raizza finishes nursing school and finally visits Adrian's home town in Winnipeg where she met most of Adrian's friends and spent time with his family.

Fast forward to October 18, 2024 our 5 years anniversary, we get engaged! The Wedding planning begins and so does planning our future. As part of our future, we wanted to call a place our home so in 2025 we purchased our first apartment. Wedding planning resumes and here we are! Ready to share this special day with you all.
