With the help of Facebook in January 2007, James was notified that he may have known, "Adrian Harris". He didn't know her, but from the posted picture, he had an instant connection to Facebook's suggestion. On January 24th, James sent Adrian a direct message (including his phone number) hoping to get a response.

During this time, Adrian was a busy high school senior getting prepared to graduate in May. To ensure she wouldn't forget him, James followed-up with another direct message telling Adrian that "he hoped she was that special person, but she never called him." Adrian immediately apologized and confessed that she totally forgot to call him. It was at this moment that Adrian gave James her number. They continued their communication solely through text messages and phone calls.

Finally, on May 14, 2007 they officially became a couple! Since his dream was now a reality, James had to see Adrian in person. James attended Adrian's graduation ceremony, but still did not physically meet Adrian or her family. It wasn't until June 2, 2007 (Adrian's birthday) that they physically met each other at the home James' Uncle Jessie and Aunt Wanda Kay. From that moment until this very day, they have been inseparable!
