Our story begins, not in Austin, but in Manor, Texas, where Meg lived at the time with her close friends, Michael and Jake. During the peak of the pandemic, with nowhere better to go, Adrian picked up Meg, and drove her around Austin for hours while they talked and got to know each other. Eventually they ended up at HEB, where they got the ingredients needed for Adrian to cook his famous fajitas for Meg, Michael, and Jake. Adrian even went prepared for their first date, because after they were done eating, he went to his car and got his guitar out of the trunk and played ‘Wonderful Tonight’. That night, Adrian and Meg began falling for each other, but it was Michael who was absolutely sure that this was the real deal. It is safe to say that he was right!
