Once upon a time in Chatham, NJ, two souls destined to be together crossed paths during their middle school days. Little did they know that their shared love for pick-up soccer games would spark a connection that would last a lifetime.

It wasn't until junior year of high school that Brian and Adriana solidified their friendship. Brian, with his trusty white jeep named Ana Leigh, became the designated driver for their group of friends. As they hung out, played Wii games, and indulged in TV shows, a bond grew stronger.

The turning point came at junior prom when Brian, dressed as a knight, asked Adriana to be his date. Their adventures continued with a thrilling ride on the Kingda Ka rollercoaster at Six Flags. It was during the summer between junior and senior year that Brian mustered the courage to officially ask Adriana out.

Their first date at Mitsuba marked the beginning of their love story, a tale that unfolded over shared plates of sushi. Brian's creative proposals continued with a sushi boat invitation to senior prom, solidifying their connection amidst the flavors of their favorite cuisine. Brian and Adriana both graduated high school together, Chatham highschool.

As they navigated through high school, Adriana pursuing a bachelor's degree at Rutgers University, and Brian studying at the county college of Morris and later Saint Elizabeth University, they remained a constant presence in each other's lives. Brian, as the goalie in soccer, humorously caught Adriana not only on the field but in the game of love.

Adriana graduated from college, and Brian proudly attended the ceremony. In turn, Adriana witnessed Brian becoming the first male graduate in his family from Saint Elizabeth's, a momentous occasion. Their love endured as Adriana pursued a medical degree at WVU, with Brian making regular visits.

Their furry companion, Mikasa, entered their lives, a black cat who initially favored Brian. Mikasa, now 7 years old, brings joy and occasional surprises with her outdoor adventures (leaving other furry animals on the porch).

On November 27th, 2021, at Laurita Winery in New Egypt, New Jersey, Brian took a knee, surrounded by family. With a nervous yet determined heart, he asked Adriana to be his forever. A romantic fire and sangria, courtesy of Brian's sister and her husband, added a perfect touch to this special moment.

The couple's love for travel took them to Mexico, where they explored caves, went kayaking, zip-lining, and danced at a friend's wedding. A journey to Japan followed, filled with culinary delights, visits to gardens, temples, and the shared joy of experiencing a new culture.

Their shared interests in anime (with a special love for Attack on Titan), TV shows (starting with Teen Wolf and cherishing Breaking Bad), and hiking in various locations like NJ, PA, NY, WV, and MD, solidified their connection. The collection of anime-related Funko Pops became a testament to their shared passions.

Growing up in Chatham, NJ, Adriana and Brian's journey faced challenges. For five years, they were 350 miles apart as Adriana completed medical school in WV while Brian pursued work in New Jersey. However, their love triumphed over distance, proving the strength of their bond.

As they plan to exchange vows at St. Patrick's Church in Chatham, NJ, the place where Adriana completed her baptism, first communion, and confirmation, the couple is surrounded by the love and support of their families. The celebration will continue at Park Savoy in Florham Park, close to their childhood home.
