Our Love Story

Our love story starts as all modern love stories start, in the dating apps.

Fate works in mysterious ways, and sometimes, it leads us right to our perfect match. Our journey began on a dating app, where a simple location change paved the way for a beautiful connection. Adriana, then living in Miami and having finished her Residency, was moving to Pittsburgh in preparation for her upcoming Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at UPMC Children's. Little could anyone know that setting her location to Pittsburgh, ahead of time, could lead to something so special.From the moment we matched, conversation flowed effortlessly. Days turned to weeks, and texts graduated to FaceTime sessions. After Adriana finally moved to Pittsburgh, we were able to meet in person. Our first date at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh was nothing short of magical, feeling as if we had known each other for years. From that day forward, the distinction of dating was clear. It's been a continuous journey of joy, laughter, and companionship, with eager anticipation of a future together.

We meet virtually in the interview for (Baylor) endocrine fellowship and surprisingly we both matched in Pitt! She automatically texted me ( unclear to this day how she got my phone number) that we would be both going to Pittstburgh. 

The friendship started with: " do you have Pennsylvania medical license?"
"Have you done the training?"
