Adriana and Eric’s love story is a beautiful blend of different cultures and backgrounds. Eric, born and raised in Indiana, and Adriana, who spent her early years in Venezuela before moving to Houston at the age of eight, seemed worlds apart. However, fate brought them together when they both accepted job offers at SHI International.

Their paths converged in a training class at their new company, with Eric relocating from Indiana to Austin and Adriana from San Marcos. Their connection was instant and undeniable. What began as a friendly relationship quickly blossomed into something more profound. Eric soon asked Adriana out on a day-long date, starting with a visit to Barton Springs and ending with sushi downtown. From that moment, their story began to unfold.

Over the past six years, they have navigated life in Austin together, growing closer with each passing day. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they decided to get a yellow lab puppy named Annie, underestimating the amount of work a puppy entails. Despite the challenges, Annie has been a blessing, prompting them to find a home with a yard for her to enjoy.

In July 2023, they took a significant step by purchasing their first home in the South Austin suburb of Buda. Their love has only deepened since the move. In July 2024, they planned a trip for Adriana’s birthday, or so she thought. Eric had a surprise in store. He coordinated with the resort to create a magical moment, proposing to Adriana under the palm trees on a beach in Mexico.

Now, they are eagerly looking forward to the next chapter of their lives, excited to celebrate their love with family and friends on June 14, 2025, in Cartagena, Colombia!
