We met one summer as camp counselors at Opportunity Enterprises, working with kids of all abilities. Fate—and maybe a little mischief—teamed us up with Sam’s best man, and the three of us became inseparable. It was chaotic, rewarding, and full of laughter. What we didn’t realize then was that it was also the start of something life-changing.

Adrianna’s first impression of Sam was… unexpected. He was younger, confident, and had this easy charm that made everyone around him smile. Sam keeps things light and positive when Adrianna’s stress could power a small rocket, and Adrianna brings passion, humor, and heart into everything—pushing Sam to dream bigger, love deeper, and stay grounded. In three years, we’ve traveled more than we ever imagined and built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and way too many shared playlists.

On our three-year anniversary, Sam planned the perfect evening—dinner, a sunset, and a surprise proposal at the Indiana Dunes National Park. It was everything Adrianna could have dreamed of: sweet, personal, and a little dramatic in the best way. That’s why July 10 became more than just our anniversary—it became our wedding date. Our day.

We’re best friends, partners, travel companions, and occasional partners-in-chaos. We balance each other, challenge each other, and celebrate every little moment together. And now, we can’t wait to start the next chapter—forever.
