Matthew and Adrienne’s story began back in 2014 at Kutztown University. The two lovebirds met during their freshman year – both living in Beck Hall. Being the only party animals in their friend group (going out almost every weekend), their bond strengthened. Adrienne knew, in her heart, that she was in love, but their fate still needed some time.

Throughout their years at Kutztown, their close friendship drifted apart. They both graduated in 2018 and went home to start their lives.

However, as luck would have it – a St Patrick’s Day party would lead them to their pot of gold!

After not seeing or hearing from each other for a while, their eyes caught each other from across the room. They both were delighted to see a familiar face in the crowd.

The Allentown bar crawl was in March of 2019 -

But it wasn’t until July of 2020 that their ultimate love story took off. This is all thanks to whoever hacked Matt’s Twitter account.

The hacker decided to message Adrienne directly!

Adrienne felt the message was strange– so she quickly texted Matt at which he hit her with the “So how’ve you been?” And the two have been inseparable ever since!

Over the years, they have gone on many adventures together across the states and, they’ve made a ton of memories.

They put their love to the ultimate test by moving in together. This allowed them to learn everything about each other and Matthew knew Adrienne was the woman of his dreams.

In May of 2023, he got down on one knee to solidify their love, but little did they know their hearts would grow even bigger (exactly five days later) with the news of their biggest adventure yet: Baby David!

Navigating life together was the best decision they’ve ever made. On September 23rd, 2023, they decided to make things official by getting married at Saint Theresa’s. They had an intimate wedding where Adriennes parents were married.

However, (in true Matt and Adrienne fashion) the couple wishes to keep the celebration going with their vow renewal this May!

The Egans are excited to share their ever-growing love with those who mean the most to them.
