DJ and I met during my freshman year of high school. He was a junior at the time. We were sitting in debate class and he had overheard that I was "Turks" sister and the rest was history.. thanks Brant!

Our first date was the movies and some time after that, we began dating in November of 2015. DJ and I had many years of long distance between him and I going to college. Once he finished up school, he lived in Omaha, while I was going to school in Oklahoma. In July 2022, DJ then got offered a promotion and moved to Waco, TX for work. I graduated college in 2023 and moved back home for the summer to apply for a job with the Waco Police Department. Luckily I got the job and moved to Waco, TX in December of 2023. DJ proposed on December 23, 2023, just a couple days short of me moving. This is where the long distance finally ends.

DJ and I cannot wait to get married surrounded by our favorite people. We are beyond excited to celebrate on April 19, 2025.
