We meet at URI! Art history student and fine art student. We both love big sweaters and hanging out in the library.

Aemilia joins Walter's family for their first trip together! We go to California for the GORGEOUS wedding of Ann's brother John and his husband Jimmy. They are so cool.

Techentin family trip to Spain! Walter goes to Europe for the first time and everything is lovely. Lots of thrift shopping amongst the kids, architecture and hikes for all, and Walter buys his favorite red jacket.

As a congratulations to us for finishing college, we book it to Tokyo, Japan with our friend Jack and visit our other dear friend Justin in Kyoto.

Family trip to England and Scotland! The hikes were unreal, as was our flat in Kensington and the Victoria and Albert museum. We arrived back in New York mere weeks before pandemic lock downs began.

Aemilia and Walter join his parents Ann and George for an awesome first-ever trip to Rome. Aemilia visited her namesake, the Basilica Aemilia at the Roman Forum, and everyone ate very, very well. Many truffles were purchased.

We take our first far-away trip just the two of us. We went to Marseilles, a city that Aemilia used to frequent when living in France. It was magical and now we are beginning a 10-year plan to move to southern France.

We adopt our poodle Pepper! He also goes by Peppy, General Peppys, Pee-Paw, Moo-Moo, and Moomie.

We sign a marriage certificate right before the year ends. Our engagement period was only 4 days, so we didn't have time to plan a wedding back then. We are so grateful to be able to celebrate with our friends and family now!
