In April 2021, I went over to my coworkers house to hangout, and to my surprise their roommate, Joe, was there. We had an immediate connection, he even invited me to play cup pong. Somehow, I managed to beat him. He was the real winner though, because he now had my phone number. The very next day, Joe got a puppy and flooded my phone with pictures of Millie, knowing I had a dog too. The real turning point, though, came when Joe agreed to visit my parents house for our dogs to meet. We had decided we were just friends, and I told my parents not to invite him to dinner to avoid any awkwardness. Naturally, my mom ignored this and invited him anyway. Joe not only stayed for dinner but also stuck around afterward to watch a movie. It was during this “doggy play-date” that my mom’s meddling helped us realize our connection was more than just a friendship. We went on our first official date to Chili’s on May 5th, 2021. By May 23rd, I was running a 5k with him, despite not having run in years, just to impress him. And on July 5th, 2021, he asked me to be his girlfriend. In November 2022, my grandfather pulled me aside to say “Don’t lose this one.” This advice has echoed in my mind, and I made sure I didn’t. From Rochester, NY to the shores of the Bahamas, we explored the world together. As we continue this journey, I am so grateful for this love that is as wonderful as the destinations we’ve explored together.

Aerin's Side of the Story 

I was living on Park Ave in Rochester, NY with a few roommates in 2021. It was during this time that I was lucky enough to meet this energetic, funny, and beautiful blonde girl that wasn’t afraid to play drinking games with my roommates. We both had dogs, so I obviously used my dog as a reason to hangout and talk to her. I was immediately drawn to Aerin and I always felt so comfortable and confident being around her. It wasn’t long before Aerin’s Mom treated me to a homemade Constantino meal. I was hooked not only on the girl, but on the FOOD. I knew I had to hold on to this one.&nbsp; My relationship with Aerin grew strong, fast. It has been filled with a lot of traveling, taking care of 2 dogs together, always joking and making sure to stay close with friends. The most important thing to both of us is Family, and that has been an undisputed value on both sides.&nbsp; Aerin is the type of girl that can make everyone around her happy. That is exactly what she has done when meeting all of my friends and family. She is my biggest supporter and makes me a better person everyday. Honestly, waiting 3 years to propose was too long because it was the easiest decision of my life.

Our Story

Quinn is Aerin’s older sister. Quinn is a professional athlete that gets to explore the world but is also smart, levelheaded, reliable in times of chaos, and an amazing juggler. Aerin has spent her life looking up to Quinn and admiring how “cool” she is. She also has great memories of constantly competing with Quinn throughout childhood, from things as silly as “don’t touch the ground” to hour long Monopoly games. Quinn always pushed Aerin to be her best self, often giving Aerin feedback she may not have wanted but always needed. Although many people note how different the two sisters are they are similar in the way they share the same values and an unshakable love for each other. Quinn’s fun-loving spirit shines through in her love for karaoke and spontaneous dance sessions, and she has a special talent for calming Aerin down when she stresses over the little things. Quinn always makes sure Aerin has “full buckets” and Aerin couldn’t imagine this day without Quinn by her side.

Joe’s older brother, Thomas, has been Joe's go-to guy for advice and fun since they were kids. Whether it was tackling life’s challenges or sharing laughs, he’s always been in Joe’s corner. As the best man, he’ll bring his laid-back style and good humor to the big day.

Emma has been Aerin’s best friend since middle school, where their friendship began on the bus and writing "truth is" posts on each other's Facebook walls. Through every phase of life, their bond has remained unbreakable. Emma is silly, fun, generous, intelligent and endlessly supportive—always the first call when Aerin is having a tough day. They have created countless memories, from Notre Dame games to van adventures in Iceland. Honestly, Emma is an honorary Gleason family member, always attending family events and holidays. Emma has been the constant in Aerin’s crazy life, someone she can always count on no matter what. Aerin can’t imagine her life without Emma in it, let alone her wedding.

Joe’s younger cousin Ray is all about having a good time. From family gatherings to late-night adventures, they’ve shared countless laughs and unforgettable moments together. As a groomsman, Ray will bring his fun-loving spirit to the wedding, ensuring it’s a day filled with joy and celebration.

Rachel is Aerin’s future sister-in-law, though she’s always felt like a little sister from the start. Kind, welcoming, and funny, Rachel has gone out of her way to make Aerin feel like part of the family. Aerin can’t wait to officially become her older sister and is so grateful for the bond they’ve already built.

Joe’s younger cousin Colin is always up for a good time. They’ve spent many fun-filled days together, creating memories and sharing plenty of laughs. As a groomsman, Colin will bring his energetic vibe and infectious enthusiasm to the wedding.

Kate is Aerin’s sister-in-law, having married her brother, Sean. She met Aerin when Aerin was only 16 and won her over instantly. Aerin always says this is because Kate brought her cookie dough, but really it was because, from the start, she always made Aerin feel important and included in her and Sean’s adventures. Aerin loves all of the time she has spent with Kate in Boston, Iceland and Rochester. She notes that Kate is not only an amazing host but also a fantastic baker. Kate is a source of great advice and unwavering support, always on Aerin’s side. It only makes sense to have her up with Aerin on her big day.

Joe’s future brother-in-law, Sean, made him feel like part of the family from day one. They’ve shared great times exploring Boston and enjoying each other’s company. As a groomsman, Sean will bring his friendly energy and good vibes to the wedding.

Sophia is Aerin’s cousin, and they’ve always been closest in age. Growing up, their competitive streak was strong—once even having a contest to see who could hold their arm up longer. But their relationship shifted when Sophia moved to Las Vegas, and Aerin realized how much she missed her. A big turning point was Aerin’s visit to Rome, Italy. Before the trip they where both were nervous not knowing how the trip would go but it ended up being the perfect trip filled with silly moments and also deep talks. The two grew closer than ever. Now, they’re not just cousins but best friends, always there to lean on and understand each other in ways no one else can.

Joe’s high school friend Zach has always been an important person in Joe's life. Through thick and thin, he’s been there to cheer Joe on and share in life’s adventures.

Gia is Aerin’s younger cousin, known for her honest and blunt approach that Aerin truly respects. A true fashion icon and the life of every party, Gia brings happiness, energy, fun, and silliness wherever she goes. Since moving to Rochester last year, the two have grown even closer. Whether Aerin is in a running rut or facing life’s challenges, Gia is always there to help her through it.

Joe met Conrad at Fredonia, and they quickly became great friends. With plenty of shared experiences and good times from their college days, Conrad brings a fun, laid-back vibe to the group.

Christie is Aerin’s younger cousin and a lifelong friend, sharing many cherished memories together, especially at the lake. She’s always been incredibly sweet, generous, and helpful, looking out for everyone she loves. Christie makes sure things are running smoothly and is always a fun presence, even reminding Aerin to drink water when she’s had too much fun! Genuine and always up for a good time, she’s the kind of cousin who’s always there to support and enjoy life’s moments.

Jake and Joe go way back, having been friends since childhood. They navigated high school and college together, even being roommates.

Vincenza may be the “baby” cousin, but she’s far from that now. She’s grown into a ray of sunshine—so mature and generous, always willing to do anything for the people she loves, including Aerin. Vincenza goes out of her way to make others happy, and her warm presence lights up any room. She’s also a great friend to Aerin, always keeping her up to date on all the latest high school trends.

Mark and Joe have been friends since high school, and they stay connected by chatting on the phone every day about their sales jobs. With their shared experiences and inside jokes, Mark adds a unique energy to the group.

Bri and Aerin first connected on Instagram when they discovered they were both heading to Holy Cross as Gateways, leading them to become roommates. Their first year together was unforgettable, and they stayed roommates for 3 out of 4 years. Bri has always been there for Aerin, bringing fun and support into her life. Aerin loves watching Bri’s success as a PA, admiring her fierce intelligence. Their shared memories include everything from bike rides (where Aerin had a memorable crash), Domer Fest, and figuring out life as a college student. Aerin wouldn’t have survived undergrad without Bri by her side and is so thankful for their continuing friendship.

Joe met Jake at Fredonia, and they quickly became close friends. They’ve always stayed in touch, supporting each other through life’s ups and downs. As a groomsman, Jake brings his unwavering friendship and positive spirit to the wedding.

Jacob Prospero

Adrianna, the flower girl, will be 5 at the time of the wedding and is Aerin’s adorable cousin. Aerin and Adrianna bonded during a trip to Jamaica. Adrianna is a sassy, sweet, and fun-loving little girl who will undoubtedly add charm and joy to the day.

Jack is the ring bearer and Joe’s first nephew. At the time of the wedding Jack will be just 1.5 years old. He is absolutely adorable. His cuteness is sure to bring an extra dose of charm to the wedding.
