The "Barat" is the entrance of the Groom and his family to the reception hall, which is usually accompanied by the drumming of a dhol (a loud drum). The dholak player leads the Groom and his family into the hall to wake up the attendees!

MAGRIB PRAYER
As the sun sets, we will take a brief interlude for Maghrib prayer. This serene moment allows us to pause and reflect before continuing with the evening's celebrations. We appreciate your understanding and participation as we honor this important part of our tradition.

BRIDE'S ENTRACE
The bride makes her entrance with her friends and family, marking the beginning of this special celebration.

NIKKAH
A "Nikkah" is a Muslim wedding ritual where a couple enters into an Islamic Marriage Contract. This involves an Imam (community spiritual leader) who gives a khuthba (sermon) and the signing of the Islamic Marriage Contract.

CAKE CUTTING, SPEECHES & DINNER
The bride and groom will be cutting their wedding cake. Shortly after, a 3-course plated-meal will be served and accompanied by speeches from close family and friends. The photo booth will be available for guests to enjoy between 8:30 - 10:30

PICTURES & CAKE
Family and Friends will be welcomed, by table numbers, to take pictures with the Bride & Groom. The wedding cake with tea/coffee will also be served.

RUKHSATI
The "Ruksathi" is a traditional ceremony in Pakistani weddings, symbolizing the bride's departure from her family to join her husband’s family. It is often an emotional moment filled with mixed feelings of joy and sadness. During this event, the bride may receive blessings from her parents and loved ones, accompanied by heartfelt wishes for her new journey
