Agnes and Max met at 8 am on May 26th, 2016. It was Agnes's first day as a lab intern at Arthrex. She arrived early and luckily Max, who started working at Arthrex two weeks prior, was given the opportunity to escort her to the lab. That morning, Angela received texts from Agnes describing how her new coworker was absolutely adorable. Agnes quietly admired Max from afar for three months until they parted ways when the internship ended in August 2016.

But God had other plans....

Fast forward to April 6th, 2017: Agnes interviewed with Max and other lab members. She was offered a second internship with Max as her mentor. They officially became partners-in-crime on May 15, 2017. Short walks together at work soon became long walks. Through the help of Max's wingman Sai, as well as long conversations, lab reports, beach days, and some help from Hurricane Irma, they fell in love and officially started dating December 16th, 2017.

2018 was a whirlwind for Max and Agnes. They traveled to Minnesota where he met all of her immediate and extended family. Agnes was slowly introduced to Max's friends and family. Max helped Agnes get hired in the lab for good, when her internship ended in February 2018. They traveled to NY, NJ, and GA with little trips to Sarasota, FL in between. They filled 2018 with adventures, dates, and lots of learning.

Max got the ring in December 2018. He took the ring into work on a weekend and scanned it with an electron microscope. He wrote a loving "lab report" which had an elemental analysis of the ring. A month later in March, 2019, Max shared with Agnes his plans to convert to the Catholic faith. A few weeks after, on March 16th 2019, Max surprised Agnes with the lab report, and knelt on one knee to propose to the love of his life.

On November 30th, 2019 - Max and Agnes plan to become partners-in-crime for life.
