Aidan and Taylor met on their mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Bismarck, North Dakota on April 27, 2023. They served together both in Bismarck and in Minot North Dakota and served around each other for 1 year. They served together in the same ward in one of those areas.

When they first met they weren't very fond of each other and both had strong opinions about one another. Aidan thought Taylor was really annoying. When Taylor had first met Aidan she honestly thought because of what she heard he was self-centered and didn’t care much about the people around him. She had heard some things about him and started to believe them. At the same time she felt that she needed to get to know him and see who he actually was. As she started to get to know him she felt a love for him that she didn’t understand and didn’t know why. After a couple of months of getting to know him she started to see who he actually was and it wasn’t the person everyone explained him as. Her companion at the time would always tease her about liking him which she always denied until she was transferred to South Dakota where she started to realize the feelings she started to develop for him. She saw the strength that he had. The strength he had to get through hard times and moments in his life. She saw the love he had for the people around him and for Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. The love he has to help people around him to not feel alone and just wants them to feel loved. She saw hard work and all the work he put in to be better every single day and doesn’t stop until he will reach that potential even when it gets hard. She saw that he cared. He cared for the people around them and wanted to help them. He cared about their hopes and their dreams. Toward the end of both of their missions they both got transferred to Minot North Dakota and served around each other for another 6 months.

When Aidan went home about 2 months before Taylor they started talking a lot more and developed a deeper relationship with each other. When Taylor got home they went on their first date at Tony Grove in Logan Canyon on August 2, 2025. They have now been dating for 6 months and by the time they get married will be about a year. They are excited to be sealed for all time and eternity in the Bountiful Temple and for the future they have ahead.

Taylor is currently completing her generals at Salt Lake Community College, where she plans on moving to the University of Utah to study Labor and Delivery Nursing. Taylor works as a CNA/Patient Care Tech at a Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake. Taylor enjoys spending time with her friends and family, specifically outside, where she loves to hike, fish, and now climb thanks to Aidan.

Aidan is currently at the University of Utah studying Biomedical Engineering where he plans to specialize in Bioinformatic Genetics to find better treatment solutions for Type 1 Diabetes. Aidan works in construction currently and enjoys learning about business. Aidan enjoys solving engineering problems and spending time outside. He enjoys being outside with Taylor rock climbing, hiking, or hammocking.

Aidan and Taylor are excited to spend their lives together and start their next adventure, later to take their families on adventures as well.
