Our Wedding

We met at college on the Speech &amp; Debate team. We first argued about who was the better country artist: Alan Jackson or George Straight. Two years later, we are still arguing about this! We have grown so much during this time and are eager to start the rest of our lives, glorifying God in all that we do.

Hannah has been Steph’s college roommate and closest friend for the last three years. She is the sweetest, kindest person you could ever meet… until a game of Nertz begins. Affectionately known as “The Ners,” Hannah is absolutely lethal with a deck of cards—but fiercely loyal and loving in real life. She’s part daredevil, always up for an adventure, whether that means skiing down a mountain, riding horses, jumping a snowmobile, or somehow convincing Steph to run 10 billion miles with her. With her fearless energy, quick wit, and huge heart, Hannah makes every day more fun, more exciting, and more memorable. Steph is beyond honored to have her best friend standing by her side as her Maid of Honor.

Payton has been one of Steph’s roommates and closest friends for the past two years and is truly a bundle of joy—almost always dressed in pink. As the beloved mom of the friend group, Payton is the one who keeps everyone taken care of, whether that means offering reassurance, late-night help, or driving Steph to urgent care when she’s been glutened. Despite being an elementary education major, she has also spent countless late-night hours helping Steph study Latin and Greek, simply because she’s that supportive. Steph is so grateful for Payton’s kindness, laughter, and constant care, and couldn’t be more excited to have her standing by her side on her special day.

Steph met Ellie in the great, desperate search for roommates about two years ago, and little did she know she was about to find one of the biggest blessings of her life. They survived historical theology together—mostly because Steph convinced Ellie to take the class, even though Ellie hated every minute of it. Ellie’s hard work, determination, and heart for others have made her not just a roommate, but one of Steph’s closest friends. Steph is beyond grateful for her laughter and loyalty and couldn’t imagine standing at the altar without Ellie by her side.

Ellie Trantham 

Angie has become one of Steph's sweetest friends over the last two years. From sitting in a psychology class together, to coffee dates, to yapping in the gym, and marching for unborn babies in D.C., Steph has loved every minute she has spent with Angie. She has the sweetest soul, her love for the Lord is contagious, and she always goes out of her way to make you feel loved. She is a joy to know and Steph is so excited to have her stand by her side on her big day!

Angie Snell

Austin is Aiden's older brother and closest friend. Though he is only recieving the "official" title now, Austin has been Aiden's Best Man for 22 years. Whether he is helping his little brother pass statistics class or figuring out why his computer won't turn on (it's dead), Austin has always been a role model to his younger brother and nothing but welcoming to Stephanie as his sister-in-law. Though their parents used up all their smart AND tall genes on Austin, they did save a generous supply of rugged good looks that make Aiden comparable to John Wayne or Rocky Balboa. 

Austin Chandler

Ethan has been one of Aiden's closest friends since middle school. They constantly push each other to be better whether it comes to tennis, ping-pong, or getting married first. Out of those three catagories, Aiden is 2 for 3. Sure, Ethan may have the advantage when it comes to height, curls, athleticism, and intelligence, but Aiden is still the ping-pong champion of the Bartholomew household to this day. Ethan is a lifelong friend and brother-in-Christ, and Aiden is excited to see how their relationship progresses throughout their lives.

Brady is Aiden's college roommate. Through Divine intervention, Aiden and Brady were assigned to the same dorm room their freshman year, and they remained roommates for all four years of college. With a roommate like that, you might just call them friends. If you ever need to find these two, they are likely watching the Broncos game together or laughing about some dumb joke from 4 years ago. Brady never fails to make people laugh and pick them up when they fall down. He found a way to bring Aiden out of his shell in college, and for that, Aiden is forever grateful. 

Brady Pacheco

Though Levi is Stephanie's brother, he has also become Aiden's friend. Countless hours laying sod, hauling rock, and smashing fingers in the Texas heat has helped Levi and Aiden bond through shared misery. Though he certainly wins the award for tallest groomsman, his taste of professional sports teams is almost as bad as his choice of employees. (Go Avs and Nuggets, and I'll still work for you this summer if you'll let me.) Aiden looks up to Levi for the brother, husband, father, and man that he is.
