Powell's City of Books is the largest bookstore in the US!

You'll want to take your time exploring Powell's book options, cafe, and rare book museum on the 5th floor. This would be perfect for a drizzly day.

A must see while in Portland! It's only 25 minutes from the Portland airport. ADA accessible to see the bottom of the falls and there is a hike that brings you to the top of the falls which is great for a cool day activity.

Canon Beach is about 1 1/2 hours from PDX.

The Oregon coast is such a special place. With the forest right next to the beach, it is unlike any other place in the US.

Nicknamed "the trail of ten falls" is and 1 hour and 20 min from PDX.

Round trip it is an 8.6 mile trip but you can choose to skip 3 waterfalls and do the shorter 5 mile loop.

This is a must see during the fall.

After you hike, stopping at Mac's Place in Silverton will fill you up with some delicious food after a long day of hiking.
