Julia said yes to being Aiden's girlfriend Julia invited Aiden to her sister's high school graduation party, where every single important person in her life was in attendance. The unspoken deal was: if everyone approved of Aiden, then she would say YES to being his girlfriend. That night, Aiden was INTERROGATED by every Tio, Tia, Grandparent, Godparent, and of course... Julia's dad and sister. From that point forward, Aiden was welcomed with open arms into the Rivera family.

Aiden brought Julia home for Christmas! Julia's first time visiting Aiden's hometown, Fredericksburg, Virginia. Julia and Aiden spent two weeks visiting with friends and family, including Aiden's bffs: Nate, Cameron, Trevor, and Ian

Softball season! Aiden was Julia's #1 fan and traveled up and down California to watch her play. Aiden would drive five hours each way, from Alameda to Arcata, CA, to spend the weekend with Julia. He did this drive every weekend for the months he was home from deployment.

Aiden came home from his third deployment! Fun fact: Since Julia and Aiden started dating in 2023, Aiden has done five deployments all over the world, including: Mexico, Asia, Alaska & Guam. They survived doing long-distance, with 12-hour time differences, terrible cell reception, and going days without being able to communicate.

Julia graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt! Aiden screamed his head off when she walked across the stage.

Aiden proposed to Julia on Waialea Beach in Hawai'i. The best day of our lives!
