In 2020, when life was at a standstill due to the global COVID pandemic, we were all finding ways to stay connected to the "outside world" through text messages and social media. During this time, an app we all now know and love, TikTok, became a source of entertainment and connection. With countless fun and funny trends circulating, one day, out of sheer boredom, I decided to join in on one of them. After uploading my TikTok, I thought little of it and returned to playing video games with friends. But soon, I started receiving messages about how my video was gaining tons of likes and comments!

Curious, I eventually checked the notifications. There, at the top of the list, the most recent one caught my eye: "Aileen liked your video 13 seconds ago." Amid the flurry of notifications, this one immediately caught my attention. Her beauty, charm, and aura were truly captivating. In that moment, I knew I had to make it my mission to get to know her, even if just as a friend. Little did I know, this new friend would soon become the person I wanted to love and cherish for the rest of my life.

Gathering my courage, I sent her a message and then waited—impatiently—for her reply. I refreshed my notifications over and over until, finally, she responded. From that moment on, our days were filled with late-night conversations, endless laughter, and an undeniable connection.

After months of getting to know her, and finally having the chance to meet in person, I realized Aileen was someone I needed in my life to stay. Not only did she bring the best out of me day by day with unconditional support, but she made me want to do the same for her! She made me want to love her with every ounce of my heart, a feeling I had never felt before. It’s safe to say that I was head over heels and day by day my care and love for her just grew more and more!

Now, after three wonderful years together, navigating life and love from a distance, Alhamdulillah, we’re ready to start our next chapter as a married couple. Our Nikkah marks the beginning of our journey of eternal love, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this special milestone surrounded by the unconditional love and joy of our family and friends.
