We would recommend staying in Canmore since our wedding celebrations will be in the small mountain town, please check out the Travel page to see hotels with an associated discount. If you want to save more, you are welcome to stay in Calgary. Calgary is just an 1 hour 20 minute drive away (it also depends on where you are located in the city). If you are staying in Calgary, we suggest you stay on the NW or the SW end of the city as this will keep the drive under 1 hour! You can also stay in Banff which is 30-40 minute drive from Canmore but it is more expensive and requires national park entry payment. Banff is a beautiful mountain town that is slightly bigger than Canmore, it is hugely popular for good reason. But don't worry, Canmore is just as beautiful with its small-town mountain ambience.

Not necessarily. In the travel section of the website we have included a shuttle from the airport right to Canmore. There are additional shuttle options as well. Canmore is small and walkable, and there are taxis and a great bus system.

The dress attire is formal. Please dress to impress! We would love to see everyone in their finest attire. So wear what makes you feel amazing; however, please don't feel like you need to spend your whole budget!

No. We plan on providing a couple drinks on us but we will have a cash bar as well.

If it is included on your invite, yes please! When you RVSP on the website it will say "Hi *your name* let Ailsa & Elijah know who is coming with you!" Please just provide the name of your guest in the space provided. Reach out to the Bride or Groom if you have additional questions regarding plus ones.

No. The ceremony is at Canmore Ranch and the reception will follow at Cornerstone Theater. It is a quick 3 minute drive or under 18 minute walk between the two locations. We do not have transportation booked for guests and will expect guests to find their own way to the reception.
