It all started on a warm August night in 2015. Aimee's friend (and bridesmaid) Shannon was turning 25 and wanted her to come out and celebrate her birthday. Aimee wasn't really keen on going out, but decided to join and be the DD. They ended up at Hennessey's in Boston where there was a live band playing. Everyone was having a good time dancing and singing along to the music when in walked Devin.

Devin was also out with his friends to celebrate a birthday. Devin and his friends were having the time of their lives when Devin recognized a kid he went to high school with that was hanging out with Aimee's group of friends. Devin came over to start talking and Aimee became very curious about this new guy that had just entered the picture. You see, Devin was wearing 2 pairs of sunglasses in a bar, at night. Aimee just couldn't help but ask him why (she is still waiting for a good explanation). Anywho, words were exchanged, then numbers were exchanged, and next thing you know they decided to go out on a date.

Their first date was at Lynnfield MarketStreet. The two talked and talked all night. They talked so much that Aimee didn't even realize that Devin was eating the fajitas he ordered as separate items instead of making an actual fajita! Things went well and the two continued to talk to each other. Aimee had been living and working in Vermont at the time so was only in MA every other week for their first 2 months of getting to know each other. Nevertheless, the two decided to give a second date a try. Aimee suggested Six Flags, which seemed like a good idea until both of them realized they were going to be stuck with each other all day.

On September 27, 2015 Aimee and Devin made it official. Devin asked Aimee out under the stars while watching the Super Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse. From that point on the rest was history! Fast forward 4 years and 5 months later Devin planned a trip to Stowe, Aimee's favorite mountain, for her "31st birthday". The pair set out for Stowe on Friday, February 7th during a winter mix storm turned blizzard. They made it to the Air BnB and settled in excited to ride in fresh pow. The next morning they got up and set off on their "10 minute" ride to the mountain. Little did they know everyone in New England also had the same idea! After about an hour of traffic and an hour of searching for a locker to leave Devin's camera, the two got in line for the Gondola. While in line for the gondola Aimee was apologizing about suggesting they go to Stowe, while all Devin could do was think about the fact that he had the ring in his jacket pocket.

They planned out their run on the way up and when they got to the top they walked over to strap into their snowboards. Devin had tried to convince Aimee to sit down, but she just said yes and kept on doing her thing. Aimee had just started to strap in her second foot and Devin said, "Hey Aim" to which she looked up and Devin dropped to one knee on the summit of Mount Mansfield and popped the question and obviously Aimee said yes!
