Connor & I met back in the summer of 2016. At the time, we were both involved with other people. We met through a mutual friend at the longbranch bar. Our first conversation went like every other first conversation.. very short & awkward. I remember texting my friend at the time saying “I just met this super cute guy” followed by another text saying “nevermind… he’s too short.” HAHA. It was a few days after meeting when I received a facebook friend notification followed by instagram & then snapchat. I didn’t think anything of it at the time. Fast forward a few months, Connor & I were both going through super rough time with our significant others. We slowly began talking more & more until we eventually were in constant conversation throughout the days. We leaned on eachother through the rough times for support not realizing that we would soon be head over heels for one another.

A few months had passed where we continued the constant conversation & just being with one another every single day. I still to this day believe we were put in each other’s lives at the most perfect time because God knew we needed eachother to cope with what we were going through.

January 14th 2017 is the day I became vulnerable & let Connor in. The absolute, hands down best decision I have made. We have been through every up & down you could possibly think of within the last 7.5 years. Many firsts. Many laughs. Many cries. We got our first place together. We have traveled together. We have watched eachother adjust to adulthood. We have gained friends & lost friends together. We became parents & brought our beautiful little girl into this world. Anything you think of, we have been through together. We make such an amazing team. We are not perfect by any means, but we try & we always come out on top.

We are so overjoyed & blessed for each and every one of you to be there to celebrate yet another huge milestone with us. You have all played such a huge part in our lives & our relationship & we will forever just be so grateful for that. Let me just say, the wait has been well worth it & I am counting down the days until I get to marry the LOVE OF MY LIFE!!
