Adam Ronge - Groomsman
No joke, I met Adam through a Craigslist ad I posted for a roommate in Santa Barbara. All I remember reading in his response was, "surf" and "UCSB," so my simple little brain said, "eh, why not?" Our shared passion for all that life has to offer has lead to some amazing surf trips, unforgettable outdoor adventures, and legendary partying. It's not often you meet such a great friend that late in life, but thankfully the universe brought us knuckleheads together.
Chad Landrum - Groomsman
Chad is another infamous childhood friend of mine, and arguably one of the most entertaining people I know... well, realistically I'd say about 80% of the time, 80% of the time...every time. There is never a shortage of energy, laughs, and silly conversation when Chad is present. Another side of Chad not many people know about, is his unwavering loyalty to his friends. He will be there to cheer you up when you're down, and conversely check your ego when it gets too big. I'm lucky to call him my friend.
Eric Sorenson - Best Man
Eric is my favorite and only brother. After a decade of older brother torture and ruthless beginnings, Eric eventually became my best friend. He has been there for me at the lowest and highest points of my life and I couldn't be more excited to have him by my side. Even though he is perpetually envious of my superior genetics, athleticism, and muscular physique, he continues to be my greatest advocate and supporter. All kidding aside, he is the most authentic person I know, a role model family man, and probably more than anyone, someone who I've looked up to my entire life. Love you Bro!
Jason Lauricella - Groomsman
The other Jason in Aimee's life. I wasn't sure how the older brother of my future wife was going to treat me when we first started dating. But honestly, Jason has been nothing but cool since the day we met. He reminds me a lot of the friends I grew up with and I think that has always made me feel comfortable being around him. I always have a good time with him, and I'm so excited to have him as a brother.
Joe Carter - Groomsman
Joe is one of my longest standing friends, and has arguably one of the better mustaches I've seen in recent years. He was a legend growing up (and still is), terrorizing elementary school teachers, riding a motorcycle through our high school in Speedos, and so many other stories of innocent mischief. He made life fun and interesting and I'm so glad I didn't get involved in any of that. Joe remains a great friend and I'm so pumped to have him by my side.
Kellen Tallada - Groomsman
There is nothing Kellen can't do, an exceptional athlete, a successful entrepreneur and business man, an incredible father, and most importantly, a great friend. No matter what he has going on in life, he always finds the time to call and check in. Another friend I've know since little league and I'm thankful we've remained close all these years.
Kevin Rivas - Groomsman
Kevin "Spock" Rivas. Might be the funniest "Pickler" I know. My dad hit his family dog with his 89' Ford Escort when we we're 5 years old, and I've never seen anyone cry harder in all my years (she lived another 15 years or so after the incident). Spock is just as much a brother as he is a friend. And just like a brother, we competed in just about every sport growing up. I've had a lifetime of laughter, backyard wrestling, and good times with my brother and so stoked to have him in my life.
Matt Zirpolo - Groomsman
Matt moved in next door to me in our last year at UCSB. We quickly figured out that we we're both from North County San Diego and shared a passion for surfing, beer, and all things San Diego sports (Go Padres). And Just like me, he likes to party. We've created so many good memories over the years, and he remains one of my closest friends to this day.
Michael Maughan - Groomsman
Everyone, lets hear it for the mighty, Michael "Merlin" Brandt Maughan! One of the truly special friends I've had the pleasure of growing up with. From little league, to lifeguarding , to high school water polo, Mike has been a staple of friendship and more importantly a brother from another mother. I don't think I would've survived this long without 32 years of laughter and shenanigans with MBM.
