Isaiah Picton - Son
Isaiah (Zai) is a joy to everyone he meets. A keen footballer, Bob Marley fan and lover of ginger beer. Zai keeps us entertained with his comical personality and kind natured spirit. After three years of living in Thailand, he's pretty good at speaking the language also!
Rachel Picton - Mother of the Bride
Margery P/Nan/Rachel wears many hats. Rachel has helped Aimee and Isaiah get to where they are today. She spends her time leading a large school of undergrads, facetiming her favourite Grandson on the weekends and sea swimming (or dipping as it actually is!).
Andrew Picton - Father of The Bride
Andrew, a Baptist Minister of 15 years, now spends his time across different roles including chaplaincy and lecturing. A keen gardener and player of Fifa - Andrew uses it as a way of bonding with Isaiah, Isaiah revels in winning 15-0 most games.
Josh Picton - Usher
Brother to Aimee and Uncle to Isaiah. Josh has always been the fun uncle. Isaiah went to watch Uncle Josh for the first time in the Theater Performance Wizard of Oz as a 3 year old - Isaiah now wants to be an actor.......or a youtuber, rapper or body guard.
Beth Picton - Bridesmaid
An 11 year gap in age between Aimee and Beth, hasn't prevented them from having a close relationship. Beth, a talented boxer - left the nest to live in Australia for a year in 2023. She now has dreams of joining the police force in the UK. Ask her for some cool stories!
Paul Hallums - Father of The Groom
Scotts Dad and the one who taught him how to decorate to perfection! After many years of working together, Scott took over the business when Paul retired. Now the brush and roller has been swapped for a fishing rod and lake, where Paul is happiest.
Jo Hallums - Mother of The Groom
Jo has always been the root of the family and lives for her 3 boys. She will be the one crying happy tears on the day before anything has even happened!
Craig Hallums - Best Man
One of Scott's best men and older brother. Craig and Scott have always been close, with only 2 years between them which made for great wrestling matches. Craig is also a talented illustrator @craighallumsart
Liam Hallums - Best Man
Scott's baby brother and co best man with Craig. He is the king of speeches and there is no doubt he'll have you all laughing. You'll also find him at the bar with a baby guinness before throwing some shapes.
Emily Hallums - Flower Girl
Emily is Scott's niece and in her own words, "Uncle Scott's my Best Friend". Emily loves Pokémon, Volcanoes and Dino's - the best combo!
Inka Ellis - Flower Girl
Inka and Isaiah have a sibling like bond and have spent many caravan holidays together. Isaiah loves Inka so much he even shared his peanut butter roti with her when she came to visit us in Thailand.
Shemna Ellis - Bridesmaid
Aimee and Shem met whilst in Year 7 at Fortismere High School - North London. They have been inseparable every since. Aimee and Shem supported each other closely during the years of single parenting, trained to be school teachers one year apart and both got engaged in the same year! (not to each other)
Lauren Makowski - Bridesmaid
Lauren and Aimee met when they were both playing for Enfield Ladies at 14. Their love of football did not outweigh their desire to party and have fun- and they have not stopped causing mischief together ever since. Lauren is a high flying project manager and mum to two Rabbits called Stevie and Willow - they even have their own insta page! @macbuns
Becca Woollgar - Bridesmaid
Becca and Aimee met whilst she was living in Brentwood. Becca and her husband Geoff welcomed Aimee and Isaiah into their home on many occasions and became a strong part of their support system. Becca and Aimee bonded over organising women's events and their love for oversharing. Becca is also an amazing baker!
Kate Okunola - Bridesmaid
Kate and Aimee also met whilst she was living in Brentwood. Kate, a keen traveler at heart who has also spent some time teaching in Hong Kong has many stories to share. She set up a youth club for teenagers in Essex and originally helped introduce Aimee to working with young people within their community.
