We would love for our family to dress up for our big day! We are requesting semi-formal / cocktail attire. Please no jeans, t-shirts and flip flops. Weather will be cold, we suggest thick layers, jackets and coats.

Yes! Both events will take place at Seneca Lake Venue in Gladys, VA. The ceremony will be held outdoors while the cocktail hour and ceremony will be indoors.

Unfortunately we are limited on space / food so we ask for you to please refrain from bringing anyone not listed by name on your invitation.

Our ceremony will begin at 3:00PM. We advise guests to arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow for time to find a seat and socialize before the ceremony begins.

There is plenty of parking available at the venue. Although, we do encourage carpooling, especially if you will be drinking.

No we encourage you to reach out in advance for your place to stay when attending. The closest hotels are listed below. (10 minute drive) Days Inn at Wyndham Altavista : 1557 Main St, Altavista, VA 24517 (20 minute drive) Comfort Inn and Suites Lynchburg : 15001 Wards Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502 There are others but most are 20 minutes or more further away.

We are having catering through Mission BBQ. There will be smoked chicken and turkey with sauces to choose from. Macaroni and green beans with bacon as our sides. Alongside will be cornbread and slider buns. There will also be cupcakes for dessert by Masons Homemade Confections LLC.

For non-alcoholic drinks we will be serving Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea, Summertime Lemonade, Water, Coke and Sprite. For alcoholic drinks we will be serving a variety of beer and wine. As well as Margaritas and Sangria.

We ultimately just enjoy your company and want share our special day with you. If you want to give a gift, we have a build our home fund set up on our registry and we would prefer anything towards that. If you want to get us something we can have and hold, there is a few items listed that we are interested in.
