Our Wedding

Welcome to our wedding website! We are thrilled to share our love story with you, and we can't wait to celebrate this special day with all of our loved ones. Our journey began in December of 2020, in the midst of a challenging year for the world, when the universe brought us together through a dating app. The First Dates Our first date was memorable. We decided to meet at Ballast Point Brewery in San Diego. As Aimee walked up, she felt a little nervous, wondering if she would recognize Allen in his mask. However, as soon as she caught a glimpse of Allen, his kind eyes immediately put her worries at ease. Over pints of beer and conversations that flowed effortlessly, we discovered our shared love for travel, the great outdoors, and exploring the hidden gems of San Diego. Less than a week later, we met up for our second date at a wine bar in Little Italy, where we discussed our life goals and aspirations. Little did we know, those first dates were the beginning of a beautiful adventure. Falling in Love As weeks turned into months, our connection deepened. We found ourselves spending weekends on trips to Mexico and Joshua Tree, exploring San Diego's diverse neighborhoods, and sharing countless laughs over our favorite meals. Whether we were out and about or at home with our pets, we managed to make every day special. Our love for each other grew as we discovered the joy of experiencing life's little moments together. The Proposal We'll Never Forget Our love story took an unforgettable turn on a trip to Norway in December of 2022. As we ventured far north into the Arctic Circle, our hearts raced with excitement: Aimee hoped to see the Northern Lights, and Allen hoped for her to say "Yes!" On our first attempt to witness the Northern Lights, our tour was unlucky as a storm rolled in and clouded the sky. We decided to extend our trip, spending a few magical days exploring Tromsø in December (where the sun never rises!), indulging in local cuisine, and enjoying sauna boats while waiting for the storm to clear. Finally, one fateful night, under the magical glow of the Northern Lights, Allen got down on one knee and asked the question that would change our lives forever. Overwhelmed with emotion, Aimee said yes, and our hearts danced beneath the shimmering auroras. Our Journey Together Now, as we embark on this next chapter of our lives, we couldn't be more grateful for the love and support we receive from our friends and family. We're excited to celebrate our love and commitment surrounded by all of you, and we can't wait to create more beautiful memories together. We hope you'll join us on our wedding day as we say "I do" and begin a new adventure as husband and wife. Shuttles to and from the wedding venue will be provided on Saturday, May 25 at the Hilton San Diego/Del Mar. The first shuttle will leave at 3:30pm from the hotel, and the second will leave at 3:45pm. Other options for getting to the venue include rideshare (Uber or Lyft) or driving. There is plenty of parking at Lomas Santa Fe, and you may leave your car overnight if needed. Shuttles will be taking guests back to the hotel after the wedding starting at 9:00pm until 10:45pm.
