Will and Ainoa met in the Winter of 2021. Will, a Portland, Oregon native, and Ainoa, a Basque girl, had both unexpectedly ended up in Nebraska.


They found each other on a dating app. Will noticed that Ainoa was from San Sebastian, Spain, the same city where his twin sister had studied abroad during High School. That intrigued him, and they began talking. They later both found out about another weird coincidence: They were both twins!


At the time, Will and Ainoa were both very busy. Will was attending his second year of medical school at Creighton, and Ainoa was preparing for her final exams during the Fall Semester of her second year of law school. Ainoa explained that it would take at least a month until they got to go on a date. Nevertheless, Will did not mind waiting to get to know her.


Around mid-December of 2021, they went on their first date to Blue Sushi in Lincoln, NE. From the moment they met, Ainoa could tell that there was something different and special about Will. She felt very comfortable around him, and loved his kind eyes and friendly character. On the other hand, Will felt intrigued and charmed by Ainoa’s sweet demeanor and interesting life experiences.

By the third date, they could already tell their chemistry was promising. With time, they got to know each other better, and in February of 2022, they began officially dating.


Since then, Will and Ainoa have shared many beautiful memories and adventures. In these past three years, they both have split their time between Lincoln and Omaha and shared many study sessions, fun trips, and time with friends and family. Their love for each other keeps growing every day. They found a genuine friend and companion in each other and cannot wait to get married!
