For those flying, Newagen Seaside Inn is about an hour and a half drive from Portland International Jetport (PWM). The Inn is about a 3 hour drive from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). We recommend renting a car, or carpooling to Southport. Rental cars book quickly in Maine in the summer, so if you are renting we recommend reserving a car early in advance. The Inn has ample parking. Rideshares/taxis around the Inn are sparse so plan accordingly!

Lodging

We have the Inn reserved for our wedding weekend! While we wish everyone was able to stay onsite, the property has a limited number of accommodations for guests. Family and close friends will be assigned to rooms for the weekend. Guests who will be staying at the Inn will receive an email from Newagen containing their reservation details in April. This email will provide a link to confirm their reservation and pay an online deposit prior to the wedding. For those staying at the Inn, check-in is at 4:00pm on Friday, August 8th. _________________ For those who are not staying on property, Downtown Boothbay Harbor has a range of hotel options. Downtown Boothbay Harbor is about a 15-minute drive from the venue. Here are some we recommend. Boothbay, East Boothbay, &amp; Edgecomb are all great towns, but will be a further drive.

For those staying offsite - we have a shuttle that will leave from the centrally located Tugboat Inn (80 Commercial Street, Boothbay Harbor, ME) at 3:00pm on Saturday August 9th before the ceremony. We have shuttle services to return to the centrally located Tugboat Inn at 10:00pm and 12:00am after the reception and after party.

"Home of the #1 Maine Lobster Roll!" On your way to or from Southport, feel free to stop by this famous Maine establishment to try the local cuisine - specifically the lobster roll. Lines are long at Red's so plan accordingly.

Sail away from it all on your two-hour voyage aboard Boothbay Harbor's schooner to relax and see the Maine coastline. Lighthouses, fishing lobstermen, wildlife, and remote islands accessible only by boat dot the seascape.

If you like fresh seafood or family friendly dining by the water, your trip to Boothbay Harbor is not complete without a visit to Robinson’s Wharf. Their restaurant is a local institution, and was established over 40 years ago. Many years and thousands of lobster rolls later, they are confident in saying that they provide a traditional Maine seafood dining experience that has stood the test of time.

Approximately one mile from the port of Boothbay Harbor, this historic site is an exceptional educational and recreational facility. Burnt Island can only be reached by boat or kayak.&nbsp;The island is open seven days-a-week from 10 AM – 5 PM, May 15-October 15. Burnt Island offers numerous recreational opportunities for families - from exploring the nooks and crannies of the five-acre island to catching a striped bass off its shore. Recreational boaters stop by for a break or to enjoy a picnic lunch.
