I met Ainzlee during my time at ICC. I was going to a lock in for one of the on campus ministries located on campus. I walked in the door like normal and went straight to my friends. It was not until the worship session started when i noticed Ainzlee. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. I had no plan on talking to her because I in fact have no “game”. She tried talking to me multiple times that night but I was too nervous to hold a conversation. After the lock in she followed me on instagram, so I followed her back and DM’d her like the smooth guy I am. We went on a date and she ghosted me until the summer (we both though we ghosted each-other LOL). We then worked camp together, and the rest is history. I now get to marry my dream girl and be the happiest man on the planet.

Once upon a time, I found myself in a small town called Fulton, Mississippi leading worship for an event for the Wesley at ICC. I went there with absolutely no expectations of meeting a guy I would soon have a major crush on. When we got to the event, we were sound checking, when in walked Kyle Spencer… I almost immediately noticed him and went to the bathroom with my best friend, Ally to tell her how cute I thought he was! The night went on, and you would think that we would have hit it off, that was just not the case LOL. We barely spoke to each-other the whole time, and I honestly thought he was trying to ignore me!!! I now know that we were both just super nervous. The morning came, and we went our separate ways, but I still wanted to know more about this guy. I followed him on Instagram, and there he goes sliding into them DM’ssss. I WAS FREAKING OUT. Eventually, Kyle asked me on a date, where I destroyed him in bowling (legend has it, we’ve not gone bowling since). After this date, we did not hangout again (lowkey thought he ghosted me LOL). Later on in the Spring, we both got news that we would be working Student Life Camp together on the same team, shout-out camp love! Throughout the summer, I began to see how faithful Kyle was in serving and his heart for Jesus began to shine through the little moments. From this summer on, we have been inseparable and I would do it again and again. My hope and prayer had always been to find a man that loved Christ first and me, second. The Lord is always faithful and provides far more than we could ask or imagine. I love Kyle, he is my best friend and I am so excited to continue our love story for the rest of our lives together!
