Our Wedding

Ash has always been on the move, whether it be running away from her parents at the train station, or the frequent moves her family made growing up. Originally born in India, at the age of 1, Ash found herself in USA, her family first landing in Tampa, FL. Ash and her family found themselves in Battle Creek, MI, Castro Valley, CA , San Mateo, CA and Foster City, CA before leaving in 2006 to move to Plano, TX. Little did she know, just 5 years prior, her future husband, who happened to live 50 miles south of her in Santa Cruz, California, had also moved to that little city in North Dallas.

Ash's Adventure

Born in 1995 in Santa Cruz, California, Mukul spent the first 5 years of his life enjoying the beaches and boardwalk of sunny Santa Cruz, before swapping the ocean air for dry heat when his family moves to Plano, TX in 2001. Disappointed at the lack of horses and cowboys in this North Texas town, Mukul navigated his elementary and middle school days before running into Ash in 2009 at Jasper High School.

Mukul's Move

Running into each other for the first time in 2009 - Ash &amp; Mukul met in their Orchestra class. Not the worst of friends nor the best of friends, Ash and Mukul were more "wave each other in the hallway" buddies until 10th grade through a few shared classes. Often desk-clump-mates in Algebra II and project buddies in Chemistry, the two slowly became friends. Over their high school years the two became close friends and closer over college as their friendship grew and their bond strengthened. Between a few missed connections, the "will they/won't they" and a spring break trip back to California with their college squad, fate eventually brought the two of them together - and the rest is history :)

We encourage guests to test themselves before the event and/or to avoid coming if you feel yourself displaying symptoms.

In the interest of safety for all guests, we are requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated (2 Shots of a COVID-19 Vaccine). We will also be providing high-quality KN95 Masks for all guests to use (we request that you do not wear cloth masks) along with personal sized packages of hand sanitizer for your convenience. Multiple sanitizing stations will also be setup in multiple locations throughout the venue.
