In 2017, Aislinn and her dad made the trek from Washington to Texas to her new apartment for her sophomore year at UT Austin. All moved in, Aislinn waved her dad goodbye at the airport and a few hours later she was dragged by her friend and neighbor, Julie, to a Pi Kappa Phi event on a small boat around Lake Travis.

Nowhere to hide, Aislinn met Peyton on that boat. Over the course of a few hours, Peyton asked Aislinn her major 5 times. Over the course of a few months, they learned more and more about each other and fell in love. They had many fun years at UT: going to football games, watching too many bad horror movies, and having a weekly ritual known as Sushi Sunday at the cheapest sushi place by campus.

They graduated from UT in 2019 when Peyton pursued his degree in Optometry at the University of Houston. Aislinn joined Peyton in Houston when work from home became an option. Aislinn and Peyton (now Dr. Allen) find themselves back in Austin where they live with their very polite cat, Mr. Meowgi.

Peyton proposed to Aislinn in front of the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans on a trip to celebrate 6 years together. They look forward to a lifetime of football, debates on what an acceptable amount of chocolate is, and being next to each other.
