I saw no kids on the invite, can I bring mine?
We love kiddos, we truly do, but our wedding will be kid free except immediate family. Please make arrangements for your children.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive to the venue no later than 4:15 pm, ceremony starts promptly at 4:30 pm and it is a small walk to the ceremony site, so to assure everyone is seated in time, please arrive early.
**There will be a golf cart for people who need assistance getting to ceremony site.
Can I bring a plus one?
We would love everyone to be able to bring a friend, but due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP section.
Where can I park?
There is ample parking at the venue. If you choose to park overnight (recommended if drinking), we ask that you promptly have your car out of the venue parking lot by 9 am on Saturday May 23rd.
If you want to carpool with others, Diamond Jo Casino is nearby and has plenty of parking as well. (See travel tab for address)
Is there a dress code?
We want everyone to be comfortable, but we would like this to be a semi-formal event. For men, think suits, polos, button-up shirts, dress pants, dress shorts, etc. For women, cocktail dresses, dress shirt, slacks, skirts, jumpsuits, etc. In the end if you are unsure, it is always better to be slightly over dressed. We do ask, no jeans, please.
Side note: Wedding colors are black, white, champagne and french blue.
What if I have a food allergy?
This is addressed in your RSVP! If you have any specific food concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to Emily. We will plan to have a vegetarian/vegan option.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both! We are lucky to have a venue that will have both. The ceremony will be outdoors (If weather permitting). The reception will be held in a large building that has large doors that will be open throughout. It will be spring in Minnesota, which means rain, snow, or sunshine are possible, so please dress accordingly.
What if I can't make it?
You will truly be missed! Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.
